Geoff Coombs is a photographer based in Ontario, Canada, with a love for remote places.
Geoff grew up in Port Credit, Ontario and in the summers he escaped the city with his family to a cottage in the northern lakes of Muskoka, and Georgian Bay, where he first found his love for nature. As an athlete throughout high school and university, Geoff found his two passions for art and sport molded into one through photography and exploring the outdoors.
Over the past four years, he has found his niche creating authentic and surreal imagery underwater and on land. His work has been featured in some of the world’s top editorial publications including Canadian Geographic, Outside Magazine, Mountain Life, and Adventure Journal. In 2017, he was named Sport Photographer of the Year by the International Photography Awards and a finalist for the coveted Lucie Award for International Photographer of the Year.
Creating powerful imagery and inspiring people to care for others and the Earth remains his goal.
